Three Moons

The moon is a cyclic part of our lives. We have forgotten that in times gone by, we lived by the stars and the moon. This piece embodies our need to find balance in the cycles of life, and the moon can remind us of our essential nature.

It took many hours to lovingly complete the original drawing. The artist uses a technique called stippling, where a multitude of tiny ink dots are made it various patterns to create shadows, lines, and textures throughout the piece. Every tiny dot matters, each little speck works with the others to come together as a visual treat for the eyes.
